Disney's Riviera Resort
We had our first stay at Disney's Riviera Resort a few months ago and really enjoyed the room. It is, by far, one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in with 5 people at Walt Disney World. The bathroom was spacious, had laundry and had the best 'couch-bed' we'd stayed in.

How is the location?
For anyone that wants access to Disney Skyliner, this resort is awesome. Disney Skyliner has a stop here. If you want to get to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios, this is your best option. For Magic Kingdom Park and Animal Kingdom Park, you'll have to take a bus.
This is a location close to EPCOT, which our family likes. We are not fans of any resort that doesn't allow us to walk to a park, so this isn't a first choice for us. Keep reading though... it's one of my favorite resort rooms!!!
What are the food options?
We got in later than normal and checked-in to the resort around 7:30pm. We chose to go to the quick service restaurant on property: Primo Piatto.
Primo Piatto was crazy busy. The food was just okay - I had the tuna salad and my kids got the pizza. I don't have to return for either one. And by the time we left to go upstairs to grab tea and coffee, it had already closed.
The morning before we left for our cruise we ate at Topolino Terrace. We had breakfast here once before when it just opened and I was just okay about it. My mom hadn't been here so we promised to try it again. This meal was better. We all enjoyed our eggs, pancakes and frittatas. The characters made it around to us at least once. Here you'll find Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy! This is a great character option, especially if you want to see the big Cheese himself! :)
Did you like your room?
Sometimes, we take my mom on vacation with us and all stay in one room. This, by far, wins for the best room for 5 people in the EPCOT Deluxe category. It's a DVC property so it has rooms with kitchens and eating areas. (See the photos below.)
There was PLENTY of space for the bed to fold out and have all of the suitcases in the living area. The balcony was large and spacious. We had a king size bed in the bedroom that had plenty of room around it.
I LOVED the fold out bed. It's a Murphy bed so the bed doesn't have a crease in it and it's a regular mattress. This means you don't have the lumpy center with folds. My mom and son loved this bed more than any other fold-out bed in any Disney Resort (because they normally are the ones that end up on the fold out couch!)
The one NEGATIVE I found was that there is only one bathroom. The bathtub and sinks are in one room with a door to the toilet. The toilet is oddly shared with the hallway shower and vanity. This was a problem for us when someone wanted to use the bathroom and be at their vanity. I would consider my travel party before booking this room again, even though it had a lot of perks that I enjoyed.
Would you stay here again?
This is a tough call. I prefer Disney's BoardWalk or Disney's Yacht and Beach Club for sure. I will have to say, that if I have a party of 5 that is close, I will consider this resort. If we are a mixed party, uncomfortable with sharing a bathroom, I probably won't. I didn't love the food options or the fact that I couldn't walk to a resort.
If you are a Disney Skyliner fan, you'll enjoy the ease to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Take the large rooms into consideration if you think the might be a good choice for you!
We didn't have a chance to swim, but it did have a very nice pool area with a great option for splashing around for little Mouseketeers!
