As a child, we rode the motor bikes around the lake at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. When I first saw the kids fishing on the boats in the water at Crescent Lake outside Disney's Yacht and Beach Club, I knew my boys had to do it!

What are they?

This is a boat experience - so know that you are out on the lake in a life vest for the duration of this 2-hour minimum event.
You'll meet your guide in the location given to you. Children will put on life vests, and you'll take to the water!
Disney stocks their lake with bass. Your guide will help get the reels ready, and you'll get a chance to catch-and-release fish. If you aren't doing well in one spot, your guide will help find fish (and fun!)

We were at Disney's Yacht Club for our adventure but Walt Disney World has a ton of places where you can embark on a fishing excursion.

This was an amazing experience for our son. He was able to catch a ton of fish in a short period of time. It was a great break from the normal pool or park day. And he got to hang out for 2 hours with his dad.

**Side story: He also got a fish on his line when they were parked near the boat dock by Disney's Hollywood Studios. The people waiting for the boat were watching him. He tried to reel it but lost it. They boo-ed him. Then, he caught another and held it up. They all cheered. It was a highlight our Disney trip that he still tells when we pass that boat dock!

Any tips?

Non-alcoholic drinks are provided for you.
Don't forget the sunscreen! It can get hot out there when you aren't moving around.
You can take food if you'd like.
If you want to bring alcohol on the boat, you'll need to pack your ID.
