Princess Aurora Royal Suite - Room 13000
From the moment we booked this beautiful room, I couldn’t wait to walk through it’s door. I was hoping to book the Wish Tower but by the time it was my turn to choose a room, it had been taken. We were actually offered the Wish Tower when someone canceled and at that point, I had fallen in love with all that this royal suite had to offer. It is beautifully decorated and everything is the most amazing quality. I *wish* I was back there now!
Princess Aurora Royal Suite Review
The Balcony!
A balcony with a hot tub, table and chairs and lounge chairs. The hot tub has an infinity ledge. It is beautiful! Towels are replaced on the balcony daily and you can request more.
We spent mornings on this balcony as the sun went up and afternoons here while our toddler napped. The curtains in the living room area pulled to black out so we could be on the balcony while the rest of the room was comfortably sleeping. (The balcony also has a hidden door to the Concierge Lounge Deck! Dole Whip Smoothies all day!!)
Sleeping Arrangements
This room holds 6 people.

There is a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom. (You'll see it in the photos with the celebration decorations.)

There is a king bed upstairs.

The couch turns into a double bed. You'll see our son on that bed with bedrails attached in the photos. I thought our 3 year old would be scared alone on the couch bed. He was fine. There are lights to leave on and if you leave the bottom bedroom door open, you can see from the bedroom to the couch bed!
Bathrooms
There is a full bathroom in the entryway, full bathroom in the downstairs room with two sinks and a full bathroom upstairs.
The entryway helped us for quick toddler training breaks and during the day when we didn't want to use the pool bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom was more than spacious with a separate room for the toilet.
The shower water got hot and the bathtub was lovely to soak in. Our kids loved this bathtub too! Downstairs, the bedroom had a walk-in closet going to the bathroom. This was also beautiful and large enough for anything/anyone.
Living, Dining and Kitchen
The living room, kitchen and dining room are one big open space. Our son slept on the fold out couch with toddler rails (see the photos) and was very happy and comfortable.
My only concern with the kids in this space was them hitting their heads on the spiral staircase or having my toddler walk up the marble stairs himself and fall. Neither of these things happened but I could see it going wrong for very small children.

The kitchen has every utensil that you need - including plates and cups, etc. The fridge was stocked with drinks and the freezer with Mickey Ice Cream Bars. I drink tea each morning and there was a hot water maker. My husband made coffee from time to time as well in the Nespresso.
The Beds
The beds… Oh my gosh…. the beds!!! The beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. So much so, that I didn’t want to get up in the morning to get our day started! My mom skipped out on Pirate Night Fireworks to lay in the be They were soft and cushiony - yet not old squishy soft.
Concierge Guests can choose from a variety of pillows. There is a card in your room when you get there. We didn’t choose any pillows other than the ones that came on the bed, but that is an option if you so choose.
Onboard Gifts
Disney Cruise Line Onboard Gifts allows Guests to add celebration items to their room. There are cake/cupcake options. You can even pre-order bottles of wine, etc.

We did order our son the birthday celebration package. You can see it in the photos below. It came with a magnet for the door, a wrap around for his shoulders, two pillowcases that we got to bring home, a hanging sign above the bed, and a beach towel as a keepsake. For around $100-ish, I thought this was a lovely surprise with lots of extras to keep! I would do it again for a celebration.
Beverages
As I already stated, the refrigerator is stocked with drinks. You'll find water, sodas, milk and even pressed juices.

There is an array of tea choices with a hot water maker. Honey was in the room as well.

There is a Nespresso machine with any coffee you can imagine.
There is also a wine fridge with three bottles of white, red and prosecco. (I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure this might be exclusive to the Royal Suites because the housekeeping and concierge staff told us to let them know what kind of wine we want in the fridge and they would replace it as needed.) We opened a bottle of red and it was very good. Champagne was also included.
My Recommendation
If you are choosing a room and considering the Princess Aurora Royal Suite, I highly recommend it.
It is a significant price tag with significant perks. You feel like you are staying at a high end Four Seasons where everyone knows your name and bends over backwards to make your stay above and beyond.
This room is not, by any means, necessary, or for all families. If you plan to always be out and about on deck, choose a concierge room for the perks but one with a small footprint and price-tag.
For me, I’ll save for another 9 years and hope to be back in the Royal Suite again!
